Welcome to planDisney, Michael. I'm happy to virtually meet you!
At this time, Guests from the United Kingdom and Ireland have 2 options for purchasing tickets ahead of their vacation: the
14-Day Magic Ticket or the 7-Day Magic Ticket, both of which usually include water park access. However, if you'd like to purchase fewer days, you can do so when you arrive at the
Walt Disney World Resort (subject to availability). If you'd like to wait until you arrive and only want 1 day in
EPCOT, 1 day in
Magic Kingdom Park, and access to a
water park, I would recommend purchasing a 2-day theme park ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option.
If you end up purchasing my suggested ticket option, you'll get to visit a theme park a day for 2 days, plus 2 entrances to either a water park or other fun like
miniature golf within the ticket's date range! If you decide you'd like to be able to hop to other parks within the same day, you can upgrade your ticket to the
Park Hopper Option. Some people like the flexibility of being able to go from one park to another, especially when EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park are easy to travel between using the
Walt Disney World Monorail. But if you want to be able to just dedicate a day to each park and then enjoy the water park, you may not need this added option.
Michael, just be sure to
check the hours of the water parks and the weather leading up to your vacation. While central Florida is often hot, it
does get cold on some winter days...and if it's cold enough, the water park will not open! So if you're waiting until you arrive at the resort to purchase your tickets, consider this when deciding which option will work best!
If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to answer them!
Life is the bubbles,
Matt
