Is it advisable to visit DW with a 6 month old baby?

    Hi Esther!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Reading your question brought back so many memories for me from when I took my little Mouseketeer on his first Walt Disney World Resort vacation when he was just 6 months old. Seeing the look of wonder and amazement on his face while riding "it's a small world" for the first time will forever be etched in my heart.

Bringing a little one to Walt Disney World is so much fun! Your little 6 month old will be able to ride the attractions that do not have a height requirement throughout the four theme parks! My little guy's favorite attractions are Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world" and Na'vi River Journey. Not only will little ones enjoy the attractions, but they will also love the exciting shows offered throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical are two that shouldn't be missed!

Disney also makes vacationing with babies so fun with conveniently located Baby Care Centers in all four theme parks. These facilities offer a private nursing room with rocking chairs, a changing room with large changing tables and so much more! We find that it's also a quiet place for our son to take a break from the excitement of the day.

Esther, I'm wishing you and your little one a magical Walt Disney World Vacation of firsts!
