Hi Carol!
Oh, lucky you! Some of the most memorable experiences I have had at Walt Disney World were when I traveled alone, just exploring the parks at my own pace, doing only the things I really wanted to do. I loved getting to take time to notice the special, one-of-a-kind touches that you only find in this magical place!
First of all, I would like to direct you to the Disney website for some more information on the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival - just click
HERE.
On this web page, you will note some links to some of the events occurring during the festival, such as the "Party for the Senses" - which I hear is one you simply "MUST DO", "3D" Disney's Dessert Discoveries, Culinary Demonstrations, Mixology Seminars, and Wine/Beverage Seminars. You can make your reservations to these and many other special dining experiences by clicking
HERE, or by calling
(407) WDW-FEST.
As I understand it, there are going to be some new "Marketplace" experiences offered that are "Must Do's": Hawaii, Caribbean Islands, & Portugal. Scandanavia is also returning, and Canada will have some new offerings.
Be sure to check the time schedules for appearances of celebrity chefs, such as Robert Irvine, Cat Cora, Art Smith, Jamie Deen and more. Look for special book signings, Eat to the Beat! concerts, and more!
