What advice can you provide for making dining reservations for large families (5 adults, 5 children, 1 infant)? We have plans to enjoy multiple Character Dining options, but will we need to budget extra money for tips for each meal as well?

    Hello Kevin!
Traveling with a large group can be great fun, but it does take a good deal of planning. You have come to the right place to ask your questions!

Character dining is my favorite way to relax and meet some of our favorite friends without having to wait in line. Since you party is larger than five, you will have the gratuity added automatically. So, you will need to budget an additional 18% for each table service meal.

My best advice for making dining reservations for large families is to plan ahead for all table service meals. It would be extremely difficult to obtain a reservation "on the fly." My other advice is to visit Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs). It is a great value and can help off-set those pricier meals.

    See ya real soon!
