Advice please, I'm on the DDP and and when I made my ADR it asked for my credit card details. Is this normal and will I be charged ?

Hi James, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so glad to hEAR you will be using the Disney Dining Plan on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. I am a huge fan of the convenience of the Disney Dining Plan. Not only is it great for budgeting, but it also guarantees that my family will have plenty of opportunity during our trip to sit down and enjoy our favorite Disney dining experiences together. A total win-win in my books!

James, when you are making Disney Dining Reservations in advance of your trip, you need to provide a credit card to confirm your reservation. Your credit card will not be charged, and you are certainly be able to use your Disney Dining Plan credits to pay for your meal upon arrival at the restaurant. Credit cards are, however, taken due to the fact that a per-person cancellation fee will be charged in the event you do not show up for the reservation or cancel within the stated Disney Dining Reservation Cancellation Policy

Should you have any other questions about the Dining Plan, or anything else regarding your upcoming trip, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Bon Appetit!
