Hi Toni!
As the mother of eight and grandmother of nine, I have visited Walt Disney World many times with young children. Because a trip to the Parks always involves a lot of walking, I have discovered that a stroller is always a great idea. Even when a child is normally past the stroller stage, it is a welcome relief for them to ride now and then rather than walk the entire day and night. That is especially true in the summer heat when their energy is low or the winter months when the temperatures are cooler and kids might want to snuggle up with a blanket in a stroller. I would definitely recommend some kind of stroller that can accommodate your 6 year old as well as your baby. It has always been worth it to us to have an extra seat as an option, if an older child needs it. Keep in mind that you can
rent a stroller at several spots throughout the Parks as well as at
Disney Springs. Or if you would like, you can rent from a private company, as well. Either way, I think you will be glad you have the extra riding room once you get there.
As you are planning, take a look at
this page of the
Walt Disney World website for ideas for how to make your trip with small children seamless and simple. And whatever you do, be sure to make a lot of magical memories during your visit. That is the part of Walt Disney World that my family loves the very most--the years and years of precious memories we have made together!
Thanks for stopping by. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you. Best wishes for a visit sprinkled with lots and lots of pixie dust. Have a wonderful day!
