Hi! Any advice for multiple food intolerances while using quick service? Unfortunately it isn’t possible to use mobile ordering. Thanks very much! Anne

    Hi Anne Louise!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I love the commitment from Walt Disney World to accommodate special dietary needs. I have several special dietary needs myself, so I understand the importance of having the ability to customize your food selections. During my last visit, I was thrilled to discover that Disney World Mobile Orders offer food-allergy-friendly ordering. I can walk you through this step-by-step.

    1. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone
    2. Click on "Mobile Food Orders"
    3. Click "Create New Order"
    4. Select the restaurant and arrival window
    5. Click the "Allergy-Friendly" icon
    6. Once you click on "Allergy-Friendly" you will be brought to a screen with the allergy-friendly menu options. From there, you can select from many allergy-friendly options, including gluten/wheat, egg, fish/shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, and soy.

Using Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn and Cafe as an example, when I click on the "milk-friendly" options, I see a listing of options, including a fajita platter, burgers, tacos, and much more.

You mentioned having multiple food intolerance, so if you cannot find an allergy-friendly option on the menu that meets your needs, you can order in person at the restaurant and inquire about the offerings for your special needs. You can also visit Special Diets for more information about allergy-friendly options and to speak with a Special Diets Trained Cast Member.

Table service restaurants also offer the ability to indicate food intolerance when booking your reservation. When booking your advanced dining reservation, you will see an option to "add" your food intolerance. You can also speak with the chef or restaurant manager when you arrive at the restaurant to inform the chef of your allergies.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
