All the advice found here is invaluable. We have very picky eaters in our group that prefer the Children’s Menus. Can older children and adults order from the Children’s Menu at either Counter Service or Table Service restaurants? We are not on the Dining

    Hi Kathy,

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel site, and I am so happy that all the advise has helped you plan your trip to Walt Disney World.  My children are picky eaters as well so I understand how hard it is sometimes to just eat a meal.  The meals and portions for children ages three to nine are geared toward that age group.  They have chicken fingers, a very small portion of macaroni and cheese, a small cheese pizza to name only a few options.  You really can order anything off the menu at the Quick Service Restaurants.  At the Table Service Restaurants, I have ordered for my children an adult portion of a kid's menu item (such as pasta) at an adult price.  You will need to speak with your server about the options available, but I find the restaurants are very accommodating,  I would also recommend eating at a buffet such as Liberty Tree Tavern or the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom, 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom, Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios, and the Garden Grill or the Biergarten at Epcot.  This way everyone can pick from any of the food at the buffet.  This usually works much better with picky eaters!  Please let me know if I can help you further with your vacation planning, Kathy.  I know your vacation will be magical!
