We have a very adventurous 5 year old daughter, who is also very tall. I have have been to Disney World countless times, but it is our first time bringing her. Is she still too young to ride attractions like Splash Mountain and Thunder Railraod?

Hi Shannon.  If your little Princess is anything like my little Princess, then she is going to LOVE Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!  My little Princess was able to ride both attractions for the first time last July!  Can you believe she held her little arms up in the air going over the big drop on Splash Mountain??  I NEVER do that because I'm holding on for my dear life!

Before our July vacation, I would let my little Princess watch YouTube videos of several attractions.  I did not force her to ride anything.  She had a blast!  We took advantage of Disney's Rider Swap and she was able to ride with both her mommy and daddy.

So to answer your question - No, I don't think she is too young to experience Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  I would suggest letting her watch a few YouTube videos and she will let you know if she's interested.

I hope your little Princess enjoys her first visit to Walt Disney World!  Let the memories begin.
