    We are going on the adventure by Disney Peru trip this July. What clothing/shoes will I need to pack for the white water rafting?

    Hi Asha! I have done ten Adventures By Disney trips and they have been all amazing.

    We did the Peru trip two years ago and you will have an incredible time and make incredible memories. The sights you will see are amazing and Machu Picchu is something you will talk about for years to come. The white water rafting was a relaxing and fun day on the water. I suggest you bring water shoes or sandals. These are shoes that are specifically made to get wet so they dry quickly. You can purchase them at places where they sell swimsuits and water gear and they are inexpensive. You will be given a wet suit that will go over your swimsuit so you don't need to worry about any other clothes for that excursion.

    Always keep the sun screen handy on this trip. You will be having adventures out doors for the most part and the sun will burn. In general bring casual comfortable clothing and good walking shoes. When you head to Machu Picchu make sure you have good shoes there as well. And be sure to keep your belongings close at hand. It will be tempting to leave a backpack while taking pictures but keep it with you at all times. To enter Machu Picchu you will need your passports and you won't want to lose them.

    In just a few short weeks you will be getting a surprise box from Adventures By Disney and it will include a booklet that will tell you what clothes to bring and anything else. It will also include a few surprises. This July I am heading to the Danube River Cruise and am very excited about this new adventure!
