Did Disneyland/California Adventure discontinue the dining packages for parade reserved seating? If not, how can I make reservations? Thanks.

    Hello Rhonda!

We’re so glad you found us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like someone is planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

When you book a dining package with reserved seating at one of the parks, you get the best of both worlds! You get a delicious meal and premium seating for your favorite show or parade. That’s what I call a win win situation! At this time, there are no parade dining packages because there are currently no parades running at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. No parades????? Before you get out your pitchfork, I’m happy to tell you that Disneyland Park will be debuting their new daytime parade “Magic Happens” on February 28th, 2020. It is the first new daytime parade created in almost ten years, so you know it’s going to be good! Mickey Mouse will lead the way, followed by characters from all of your favorite classic and new stories. There haven’t been any dining packages announced just yet but I would stay in touch with the Disney Parks Blog where you’ll be sure to hear it first.

If you’re planning a visit before the new parade begins consider a dining package for either Fantasmic! or  World of Color. Fantasmic! is my favorite night time spectacular of any US park and with a Fantasmic! Dining Package, you’ll have the best seat in the house. Choose from either a dining experience at the Blue Bayou Restaurant, River Belle Terrace- Regular Package, or River Belle Terrace- Premium Package.  If you’re looking to save time, try the Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package where you can swing by the Hungry Bear Restaurant and pick up a pre-ordered, pre-packaged feast. For World of Color, you can try the World of Color Dessert Party! You’ll enjoy sweet and savory desserts, appetizers, and beverages during the show all in the comfort of reserved premium seating.

Well Rhonda, I can’t wait to hear about how you enjoyed the new parade. Be sure to come back with all of your questions, we’re happy to help!

Remember, always believe in the magic!
