Disneyland/California Adventure Armed Forces Salute military tickets. What are the specific qualifications for the tickets? If they are not an active member, do they have to be a 20 year retired member to qualify for tickets?

Hello, Rebecca! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Military Promotional Tickets are an excellent deal for members of the U.S. military and their families. According to the Disneyland Resort website and a Cast Member I spoke with, the offer is only available to active-duty, career retired, 100 percent disabled U.S. military personnel, and their spouses (with valid military spousal identification). In order to purchase the Military Promotional Tickets, you will need to present valid military identification and that same identification is required to activate the tickets the first time they are used. In other words, the military member or spouse must be present, show ID, and use one of the tickets purchased.

In addition to this great deal on three- or four-day theme park tickets, military members can receive special pricing on Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms and the PhotoPass Collection Product. Staying on-site has so many advantages including close proximity to the parks and, my favorite perk, Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay. These amazing promotions are just one of the ways the Disneyland Resort salutes our military and their families! Have a magical day!
