Hello, Kelly!
Welcome to planDisney. Sailing on an Alaskan cruise sounds like an incredible vacation! The
Disney Wonder also holds a special place in my heart because it was my family's first Disney Cruise. It was a delightful voyage, and we immediately booked another cruise! I recommend booking a future placeholder cruise while sailing on your Disney Cruise. The
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer allows Guests to access a discounted rate on a select future cruise. It is the perfect excuse to sail again!
Some of my family members stayed in a
Concierge Stateroom on our Disney Cruise last year, and they raved about it. For starters, the Shoreside Concierge Associate team will contact you via email to assist in booking
Port Adventures and onboard activities before your trip. Concierge Guests can
book onboard activities before most other Guests when working directly with the Shoreside Concierge Associate team. Being able to book activities early is a huge advantage! Many experiences have limited availability, and booking first increases the likelihood that you can book your preferred activities.
The perks continue when you arrive at your departure port! Concierge Guests are usually given early
Port Arrival Times, which is the time that you can board the ship. They also typically have a separate check-in process and waiting area in the terminal. You will feel very pampered! Additionally, my family thoroughly enjoyed the Concierge Lounge once onboard the ship. The Concierge Lounge usually offers snacks and drinks throughout the day, including complimentary alcoholic beverages on some evenings.
My family also took advantage of early seating for Concierge Guests at the
Walt Disney Theatre each evening. Concierge Guests can access an exclusive entrance for most shows and are typically seated about 40 minutes before the show begins. My family members always got the best seats in the house!
Kelly, these are just some of the perks of staying in a Concierge Stateroom. I hope this information was helpful! Do not hesitate to reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
