    Is there any advantage to using Disney dollars rather than regular money around WDW?

    Hi Judy!  I absolutely LOVE using Disney dollars when on a vacation to Walt Disney World. We use them for a game at each meal and it makes it very special. However, there is no other advantage or disadvantage to using them over your regular money. All Disney shops, restaurants, etc will accept the Disney dollars so many families give their children a certain amount to spend for souvenirs and use Disney dollars or gift cards. It is simply a different and fun way to make a vacation just a little more special with a little bit of Disney pixie dust!
