How do I take advantage of the morning Magic Hours, if I can't check into my Disney Resort hotel until 4pm on my day of arrival, and that's one of my days to use my park tickets?

    Hello Rolanda!

There is no time like the present to start planning for an early arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort. I always say that the only place that I am willing to get up at the crack of dawn for is a trip to Walt Disney World!

The beauty of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, is that you have access to all of the fun perks like morning and evening Extra Magic Hours. Although your room may not be ready early on the day of arrival, that won’t prohibit you from taking full advantage of Theme Park hours. As a Resort hotel guest, you can enter the Theme Park at the scheduled opening time (including Extra Magic Hours when available) beginning on the day of your arrival.

Disney Mom Tip: I highly recommend taking advantage of Online Resort Check In prior to your arrival. You can begin the check-in process using your My Disney Experience App or in My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World Resort desktop site. Once you begin check in you can choose to provide your email address and/or U.S. Mobile phone number so that you will be notified when your room is ready. They will even send you a message with your room number likely helping you avoid going to the front desk to check in! You will be able to let them know what time you expect to arrive at your Disney Resort hotel. Currently, resort check-in begins at 3:00PM, however if you anticipate arriving earlier than that time, they will make every attempt to have your room ready early. Please note that it may not be possible to have your room ready early. Make sure to pack your MagicBand to unlock your door and don’t forget about the “Unlock Door feature” on your phone in the My Disney Experience App.

Have the best time making magical memories!
