I want to take advantage of the free dining package this summer but we are flying into Orlando the day before the package take effect. Can I simply add a night without the free dining to my package?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

How exciting that you get to take advantage of this great Special Offer that includes the Disney Dining Plan! Having done so in the past, yes- you CAN add a room-only reservation at one of the great Disney Resort hotels for the night before the offer takes effect if there is availability. Keep in mind that by doing so, you will have two distinct and separate Disney reservations and you will receive two sets of MagicBands (unless you decide to decline a set). When making your room-only reservation, I suggest calling a Cast Member and letting them know of your plans so that they can coordinate for you to stay in the same room for both reservations. Also, upon check-in, you can let the Cast Member know that you have two reservations and that you would like to keep the same room if possible.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you will only be receiving your Rapid Refillable Mugs on the day you check-in for the Special Offer.

I hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! We would love to help you with any other questions you might have, so make sure to come back again real soon!
