I would like to take advantage of the AP deal for DVC Members. My son is developmentally delayed and is in a residential program however he returns home all the time. What do I need to bring with me to activate his annual pass? This is his 1st trip.

    Hi Linda,

I am so glad to hEAR you are planning on taking advantage of the fantastic Annual Pass Offer currently available for Disney Vacation Club members. Up until January 3, 2018, Members can save 25% on the purchase of a Disney Platinum Plus Annual Pass, which includes admission for one year to all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks (with Park Hopping privileges), Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, complimentary Theme Park parking, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads. Passholders can also benefit from various discounts on dining, merchandise, recreation and tours and Disney Resort hotels stays, subject to availability.

Linda, I spoke with Disney Vacation Club Member Services regarding your question concerning your son, who appears to reside some of the time in a residential program outside your home, and the rest of the time at home. The Member Services representative I spoke with advised that it should not be a problem for you to obtain a Disney Vacation Club discounted Annual Pass for your son in these circumstances. However, if your son is over 18 years of age, you will want to ensure that you bring a piece of photo identification (such as a driver's license or state identification card) with your home address when activating the Annual Pass upon arrival at Walt Disney World.

Linda, please note that Disney Vacation Club members are currently able to secure special discounted Annual Passes for up to 8 people per year who reside in the same household.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Linda. Wishing you a yEAR of Disney Magic with your Disney Vacation Club Annual Passes!
