Hiya Janice! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm so excited you are considering a visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! It's a family favorite of ours and a visit is not complete without a ride on
Kilimanjaro Safaris! Seeing the vast array of animals up close and roaming free around the savanna is always a special experience.
To make a park reservation for
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you'll need to purchase a valid park ticket before doing so. You can purchase tickets through the Walt Disney World website or by calling and speaking to a Cast Member. Once your ticket is secured for the date you wish to visit, you'll need to create a
My Disney Experience account to link your ticket and make your reservation.
Head over to the Walt Disney World website and click on "My Disney Experience". If you already have an account, enter your login information. If not, select create an account and follow the prompts to do so. Once you are in, select "Park Tickets" followed by "Link Tickets". Enter the Ticket ID Code located in the confirmation email sent to you upon purchase. Now that your ticket is linked, select "Park Reservations" followed by "Make a Reservation". This is where you will get to select Animal Kingdom as the park you want to visit on this day.
Janice, if you are referring to staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'll need to enter your anticipated travel dates and number of Guests in the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar at the top of the Walt Disney World Website. If Animal Kingdom Lodge is showing availability on these dates, select that as your option and follow the prompts to make your resort reservation.
I hope you have a magical time during your visit, Janice! Since you are a
Florida resident, make sure to check for discounts on park tickets before making your purchase.
See ya real soon!
Greg
