Hello, Kristin!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am so excited to hear that you have purchased a Memory Maker. Your Disney vacation must be just around the corner, just in time to join the
World’s Most Magical Celebration. There are so many new experiences created just for the 50th Anniversary Celebration that you will not want to miss out on any of them.
Memory Maker will use Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers to capture your magical moments and upload them to your account. Let’s get your Memory Maker linked to your My Disney Experience account so you are ready to make magical memories when you arrive. If you were signed in to your account when you made the purchase, your Memory Maker may already be automagically linked to your plans. To confirm your purchase, sign in to My Disney Experience on your computer or laptop and click on the
My Plans tab. Scroll down to the
My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section and select the
Tickets and Memory Maker tab. If you have already purchased and linked theme park tickets for everyone in your party you will see them all listed here and below them will be any
Memory Maker Purchases. If it is listed, you are all set.
If you need to link your
Memory Maker, check for an email confirmation regarding the purchase of your product. There will be a confirmation number on your email receipt. To link the confirmation number click on the
+Add More Plans drop down menu and select
Link Reservations and Purchases. Select
Memory Maker from the options and enter the
Confirmation Number in the space provided and click next to confirm. Your Memory Maker is now linked and ready for your arrival.
You can activate your Memory Maker once you add your first PhotoPass image to your account. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and navigate to your photos. Select any photo and tap it once to select it and again to confirm that you want to activate your Memory Maker. Your Memory Maker is active for 45 days, allowing you to capture as many on-board ride photos, Character interactions, Magic Shot, and family photos as you like during the entire length of your trip. Remember, your photos will expire 45 days from the date they are taken, so make sure that you download, share, and post your photos before they are gone. You may even want to consider purchasing an Archive DVD or Archive USB drive as a back up for your precious core memories.
I hope this helps with getting your Memory Maker linked, but if you are still having issues, you may need to reach out to the Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Team at (407) 560-4300.
Say cheese,
Andrea
