Does an adv dining reservation guarantee a table at the time of your reservation or do you still have to wait? 2nd question- Going to DHS 1st wk of April and do not have Fantasmic dinner res. Any tips on securing a seat for the show- 2 excited kids!

    Hi Kelly!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

An Advance Dining Reservation means that you will be given the next available table, for the size of your party, after the time of your reservation.  This also means that sometimes you might be seated immediately, or there may be a short wait.

If you wish to make a reservation for a Fantasmic! Dining Experience, you can do this online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.  If you go to the online reservations page, first select "Dining Event', then "Fantasmic! Dining Experiences".  You can choose one of three restaurants for this experience - The Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano or Hollywood & Vine.  The advantage of booking the Fantasmic! Dining Experience is that you enjoy your meal at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then you will receive a voucher for preferred seating at Fantasmic!, and you only need to arrive at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater 30-45 minutes before the show, and you will be shown to your seat.  If you choose to see Fantasmic! without booking a Dining Experience, it is advised that you arrive at the amphitheater at least 90 minutes before show time.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
