2Adults-May-DVC 2 nights pre cruise & one post. NO parks-considering doing Wanyama Safari-we could do a PARK one day for less $ for all day (almost 2x amt for few hours & dinner) DVC discount on safari? How far ahead must we book? Do they take wal

    Hi, Denise!

Ooh! You've got a wonderful trip planned by enjoying two nights in Walt Disney World, then a lovely cruise, and one final night to relax back in WDW before heading back to reality. Nicely done!

Wanyama Safari Resort Tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a completely unique experience, from the moment Guests begin the tour until the final taste at Jiko-The Cooking Place. Comparing this to a day in the park is sort of like comparing apples to oranges, though, so try to think instead about the money you'll spend on the tour and if you'd rather have saved some of that and enjoyed a day in a park.

In addition, keep in mind that Jiko is a Signature Dining location, so it would be more accurate to compare this experience to a private, guided tour of a park for several hours, followed by an extra-sumptuous meal, complete with wine pairings, at one of the finest restaurants on WDW property. This tour even includes gratuity!  It's an event that Guests rave about for years to come, and is only available for booking for Guests staying at either Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or Kidani Village.  Although there are currently no discounts on this tour, it's soooo not another day in a park.

Wanyama Safari books up to 180 days in advance and is a very popular tour, so book it as soon as you've decided that you want to take the plunge. Call WDW Itinerary Planning Office at (407) 938-4755 for more information or to book this fabulous experience.
