Hi, we (2 adults and a 2-yr-old) will be staying at Disney's all movie stars resort from 1/19 to 1/23/13, with the delux dining plan. It will be my 2-yr-old son's 1st time there, can you advice how we should do our meals and parks? Thanks.

    Hi Larry,

Being organised is definitely the best approach to take especially when travelling with small children.

I would recommend that you aim to be at the Disney Parks for park opening each day. You will be amazed at just how many attractions you will be able to experience in the first few hours before many Guests arrive for the day.

You could then head back to your Disney Resort hotel for a nap or some relaxation time in the afternoon if your little one gets tired before returning to enjoy some of the nighttime entertainment.

I always try to make dining reservations either in the park that we will be visiting or at a resort which is situated nearby. The main reason for doing this is to minimise the amount of time spent travelling during the day and to maximise our time in the parks. I would also recommend making dining reservations for times when you would normally eat your meals so that you do not disrupt your childs routine too much.

Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days prior to your trip online or by calling (407) 939-3463.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
