We have 4 adults, 2 10-yr-old girls, a 9-yr-old boy and a 7-yr-old boy first time to Disney World. We currently have the quick service dining plan. Is it worthwhile to upgrade to the Deluxe plan? What if we want to do a charcter dining for one meal?

Hi Ann - there's another option beyond the deluxe plan.  The standard plan offers one quick service meal, one snack, and one table service meal per day.  I think it's worth upgrading to that plan if you think you'll eat an average of at least one table service meal per day.  The deluxe plan is really only worth it if you think you'll eat at least two table service meals per day.

If you stick with the quick service plan, you can always pay for your character meal out of pocket, which may end up being cheaper than upgrading to a higher-level plan.

    Have a great vacation!
