2 adults, 2yr & 11yr old traveling June 24 1pm-July4 2012 9am.Water park or parks as well Any advice on a schedule? Also, is there a beach that is decent and near? Staying at non Disney resort not far states across the street.

    Hi Christina,

I'll start with the beach recommendation.  You can go west or east.  If you want to head to the Atlantic Coast, Cocoa Beach is a great choice.  Headed west to the Gulf Coast, I'd recommend Clearwater Beach.  Allow for a two hour drive to either to be safe.  As for water parks, I say, if you have an opportunity to visit a Walt Disney World water park, absolutely, positively do so.  My boys love both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, and, weather permitting, we try to include at least one day per vacation.  July 4th, as you can imagine is a very popular week to visit the theme parks, so I recommend going early, as the crowds will be larger in the afternoon.  On the actual 4th, I'd pick a water park or Animal Kingdom.  Magic Kingdom and Epcot tend to be the most crowded in my experience.

    Have a magical trip!
