4 adults & 1 8yr staying at Polynesian. Want to do 2-3 character meals, all breakfasts at resort & snacks at resort. Considering eating some evening meals off resort. Would the dining plan be benefical?

Hi Jana, I'm not sure how many days you are staying at Walt Disney World, but if you are planning on having breakfasts at the resort as well as snacks and character meals, I think the original dining plan with one snack, one table service, and one counter service per day per person could work out to be very beneficial to your family.

I'd recommend that you put together a rough schedule of the days that you will be there, and try to determine the approximate amount of meals you will eat at Disney World.  Keep in mind that you will use table service credits for the character meals, whether they are breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and that signature restaurants will use two credits.  Once you have a schedule, it'll be easier to figure out if the dining plan will work for you.  In general, I think the dining plan can be a great deal for families!

    Hope that helps.
