We have 2 adults and a 3yr old and a 1 yr old who will be turning 1 while we are there. Which is the best deluxe resort to stay in for our children. We liked the animal kingdom lodge, however would one on the monorail be better? any advice please!

    Hi Susan!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fabulous resort.  It's my 5 year old son's favorite.

However, I recommend that you stay in a Magic Kingdom Resort.  With very young children, you will probably be spending a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom (MK).  Staying at the Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, or the Wilderness Lodge makes it very easy to return to your room for a break, nap, etc.  Except for the Wilderness Lodge, the resorts are all on the MK monorail line.  There is boat service between the MK and the Wilderness Lodge that runs often.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Magic Kingdom Resorts, though my personal favorite is the Wilderness Lodge.  I absolutely love the theming.  Generally speaking, it is also less expensive to stay there than the other MK resorts.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
