Can adults wear a mask for pictures at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? I know they are not allowed to be worn while walking around so the mask would just be put on when posing for PhotoPass or character meets.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Tara!

Welcome to planDisney! We are THRILLED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! It looks like your SPOOK-tacular adventure will be here in a few days! Soon you will be walking right into a world filled with glowing pumpkins, happy haunts, and plenty of pixie dust. Main Street, U.S.A., will be dressed in its boo-tiful best, and every corner of Magic Kingdom will be bursting with Halloween enchantment. Get ready, because the ghosts are friendly, the treats are plenty, and your frightfully fun Disney days are just around the corner!

What a great question! For Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, adults (anyone 14 years and older) are welcome to dress up in their most incredible costumes, but there’s one important rule...Masks aren’t allowed. For the safety of everyone, Mickey wants everyone’s eyes visible and unobstructed at all times, whether you are making your way through Fantasyland, meeting your favorite Disney characters, or striking a pose with PhotoPass. So even though you can’t slip on a mask for a quick photo, many guests create AH-mazing costumes with clever makeup or hauntingly detailed headpieces that look drop-dead gorgeous in pictures. With a bit of creativity, your costume will still cast a spell and make your photos frightfully fantastic!

As you get ready for a party, here are some planDisney tips for you:

    * While the party officially begins at 7:00 p.m., your ticket lets you enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00, giving you a few extra hours of MAGIC before the ghosts come out to play.

    * Trick-or-treating spots are scattered all around the park, so bring your sweet tooth (and maybe an extra bag if you’re serious about candy collecting!).

    * Don’t miss the exclusive entertainment, including the Boo-to-You Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and a dazzling fireworks show that lights up the night in hauntingly happy style.

    * Some of the most popular attractions like Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean feature spooky party overlays, so save time to experience them in their frightfully festive form!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
