Hi There, Mateo! I hope 2022 is off to a great start for you!
In these uncertain times, with so many changes happening day to day, knowing what is required when traveling can be confusing.
While Walt Disney World Resort does encourage people to get vaccinated, there is currently no vaccination requirement for Guests, so I am happy to share that you should be fine to visit ahead of your booster in March.
It is important to note that
face coverings are required for all Guests (ages two and older) indoors throughout Walt Disney World Resort, regardless of vaccination status. This includes shops, transportation, indoor attractions,
Disney Resort hotel shared spaces, etc. Rest assured,
Walt Disney World is prioritizing safety during these times and has many policies in place to protect Guests. You can learn more about these safety practices on the
Returning to a World of Magic page.
As someone who has taken every possible precaution since the start of the pandemic, I can tell you that I felt comforted by how seriously Guest safety was taken on my last visit to
Walt Disney World. It was amazing to see the
enhanced sanitation and safety practices in action. I felt completely at ease and could fully relax and enjoy myself for the first time in quite some time!
In those moments when it was harder to remain socially distanced, I found there were so many great outdoor activities to enjoy as I took a break from the crowds. I had so much fun strolling through
Magic Kingdom with a DOLE Whip from
Aloha Isle in my hand, enjoying
Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade as I tried to spot a hidden Mickey or two. If you are visiting with any little ones, I highly recommend checking out
A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas. This interactive scavenger hunt through Adventureland is an absolute blast for the whole family and involves a lot of time outdoors!
Mateo, I am so excited for you to visit
Walt Disney World. You will have such an amazing time, especially since you will be visiting during
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Please visit us again soon with any other questions you may have!
Wishing you the most magical vacation!
