4 adults and 2 tweens. Have dining reservations for 3 nights (Chef Mickey's, Mama Melrose, and Cantina de SA), but not yet for our second night at MK. Have recommendations for dining in/near MK in June? Or possibly DTD or resort dining musts instead?

My two teens absolutely loved the meal we had at The Wave during our most recent trip this past December.  It's located on the ground level of Disney's Contemporary resort and serves up healthful, fresh twists on American food favorites.  Many menu items are organic and sustainably grown/harvested.

Another favorite near Magic Kingdom is 'Ohana.  It's a family-style meal offering skewered meats cooked over an open flame with a whole bunch of sides inspired by Asian/South Pacific cuisine.

I saved the best for last, though.  My number one choice would be dinner at Hoop Dee Doo.  It's a dinner show that is incredibly popular with guests young and young-at-heart.  It's a not-to-be-missed experience for our family every single trip!  Better yet?  It's a boat-ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

You can't go wrong whichever you choose.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
