There will only be 2 adults on this trip to meet up with family members, but all the resorts seem to cater to 4 or more adults. What lodging do you recommend for only 2 grandparents?

    Hi Sandra,

It might seem like the resorts cater to parties of 4, but there are many rooms available that are perfect for a getaway for 2! There are many resort rooms at Disney that can sleep up to five people, but having only two people in the same room gives you more space.

I would suggest taking a look at your budget to decide how much you will spend on your resort room. If you choose a Value resort, my favorite is Disney's Pop Century Resort where you can request a king-sized bed. In the Moderate category my favorite for couples is Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter. You can book a king room leaving nothing up to chance. The resort grounds are lovely and what better way to start your day than with a cup of coffee and beignets! If a Deluxe resort is more your style, I love the tropical vibe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I also love the convenience of the monorail! One more category you might consider is Disney's Deluxe Villas. My favorite of these is Disney's Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort. You could book a studio with a queen-sized bed and kitchenette or go all out for a one bedroom villa with a king sized bed, separate living room, and full kitchen!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
