Can 2 adults share a meal at a table service restaurant? Thanks.

    Hi Betty,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

I find portion sizes at many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants to be HUGE. Because I don’t like to walk around with a “doggy bag” as I tour the Theme Parks (or Disney Springs, for that matter), my husband and I will often split a meal in order to avoid wasting too much food… or money!

We’ve never had a problem with sharing our meals when we’ve paid for our meals “out of pocket”, but please be advised that some dining locations may require that you pay a “sharing fee” if you do. In addition, if you’re planning to pay for your meal using your Disney Dining Plan table service entitlements, you unfortunately won’t be allowed to share your meal with another adult. If you have any questions about a specific restaurant’s policy, please ask the Cast Member when you check in for your reservation or your waiter for more details.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
