Hiya John! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! You're only a few days away until you arrive for a magical day at the
Walt Disney World Resort! With so much to possibly do while you are there, your best approach will be to prioritize the experiences that your traveling group is looking to have. It's impossible to fit everything into one day, so making a list of your must-dos will be important.
When visiting Walt Disney World for one day, the price will vary depending on which park you plan to visit. The
Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios will typically have the highest prices, followed by EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. All Guests 10 years of age and older will have one cost, while Guests between the ages of 3-9 will have a slightly less cost. Since there are four theme parks at Walt Disney World, you'll need to decide which one you want to visit on your park day. Magic Kingdom is home to the iconic Cinderella Castle and Fantasyland, while EPCOT is known for the World Showcase. Your choice will depend on what attractions and experiences are most important to your group.
If you want to experience multiple parks in one day, you can decide to purchase the
Park Hopper Option. This ticket type will allow you to visit all four theme parks in one day. You'll need to make theme park reservations to the first park you plan to visit, then starting at 2 PM, you can hop to any of the remaining three parks. This is a great option if you want to experience more than just one park. For example, let's say you had your heart set on watching the nighttime spectacular at the Magic Kingdom, but want to ride Tower of Terror. You can start your day exploring Disney's Hollywood Studios, then transfer over to the Magic Kingdom to close out your evening. This ticket type will come with a higher price tag, but you'll be able to experience more in one day.
John, I hope this information helps you plan for your visit. You'll be able to view all ticket pricing on the
Walt Disney World website and make your purchase there.
See ya real soon!
