Hi Rachel,
Thanks for stopping by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let me try to help you out.
Kids. All they do is grow! I have a pair of older teenage boys, so I can relate a bit. Some of the moderate resorts can sleep up to five adults, like
Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside. Some rooms have two Queen Beds and a Child-Size Pull Down Bed. Five of us (three adults and two teens) stayed at this resort a couple of years ago, and a petite adult can comfortably sleep on Pull Down. The bed measures approximately 63” by 30”. Unfortunately, roll-away beds are no longer available.
You may want to look into a resort with
Rooms for 5 Guests or More. From Family Suites
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, to Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels, there are options for every budget. These will give you the option for each of your kids to have their own bed. You may also consider two rooms at a value resort, and request connecting rooms.
One last tip: if you book more than one room, make sure you contact a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or your travel agent, so they can join the reservations. Note that there’s no guarantee that you will receive connecting rooms, but every effort will be made to accommodate the request. And now, just keep planning… just keep planning…
Ricardo.
