We have 4 adults in our party and 2 want the Disney Dining Plan while 2 others do not. Is this allowed? If we have dinner reservations for table service will they split the checks 4 ways?

    Hi Kristen,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.  All Guests staying in the same room must make the same plan choice for their Disney Vacation Package.  Therefore if all 4 adults will be sharing the same room you must all decide whether you want to add the Disney Dining Plan or not.  However if your party has more than one room then each room may decide separately if they would like to add the Disney Dining Plan.

When dining at table service locations the Cast Members will be happy to tabulate individual checks for you.  When your server first arrives to your table inform them how you would like your check(s) to be divided.  If you are using the Disney Dining Plan you may still ask for individual checks so that you may take care of your tips separately and/or pay for your items not included on the Disney Dining Plan such as some specialty beverages.  I have often visited Walt Disney World with a group of friends and although we often share a room, we usually ask for individual checks when dining out.

Please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
