Greetings, Hester! You're in the final countdown for blastoff to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Now is the perfect time to review details like menus, theme park hours, and transportation to ensure your vacation is a complete success.
It sounds like your crew is preparing for a visit to
Space 220, which has quickly become a popular choice for dining at Walt Disney World Resort, for good reason. The incredible theming and thoughtfully-developed menu offerings keep guests coming back for more. I can tell you that, at this time, adults should order off the adult menu whenever possible. Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate
dietary requests, so if your party has allergies or other dietary restrictions, please inform your server as soon as you're seated. If you review the
Space 220 menu, you'll see that there are a few similarities between the adult and kids offerings, like the mouth-watering salmon and a few of the delicious side items. Hopefully, there is an option that will be perfectly satisfactory for each member of your party.
Hester, at many Table-Service Restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find tempting options on the Kids Menu, and sometimes it's worth asking your server if Kids Menu items are an option for adults. When I dined recently at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, my planDisney friend
Lizzie was hoping to order Chef Tandaji's Crispy Chicken from the Kids Menu. Our friendly server kindly let us know that he'd be happy to serve Lizzie an adult-sized portion of that same entree at an adult price. Like I said before, Cast Members are always happy to do anything in their power to help you have a great dining experience!
If you haven't done so yet, be sure to make
Advance Dining Reservations for your favorite Table-Service Restaurants during your vacation. I love having a reservation for each day I'm visiting a Theme Park with my family, because it gives us a chance to relax and recharge for the rest of the day.
I hope your journey to Space 220 is out of this world! Please visit planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have as you prepare for liftoff!
Safe travels!
Jennifer
