Greetings Petrine!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for being curious enough to bring a question our way!
What’s your favorite part about a visit to the Disneyland Resort? The rides? The entertainment? The food? For me, it’s feeling like a kid again! Walt Disney created Disneyland Park as a place for the young and young at heart! So, I never miss an opportunity to tap into my younger self! Whether it’s a ride on
Casey Jr. Circus Train in
Fantasyland or ordering the Kids' Vegan Bánh Mì Sandwich from
Lucky Fortune Cookery in Disney California Adventure Park! I’m a light eater, but I also like to enjoy lots of treats when I visit the Disneyland Resort. I’ve found that one way to sample as much food as possible is ordering from the Kids' Menu. In my experience, most quick-service restaurants are happy to accommodate this request!
There are a couple exceptions to this rule. When dining at a buffet guests age 10 and over will be charged the adult price. And, certain table-service locations, like
Blue Bayou Restaurant, require adult guests to purchase a meal from the adult menu. If you’re ever unsure about your options when ordering, simply ask a Cast Member! They are always ready and willing to explain all menu options to you. This includes discussing information about ingredients and accommodating any dietary restrictions you may have.
I hope you find yourself filled with child-like wonder on your next visit to Walt Disney’s original theme park! Please head back with more questions! We’re hEAR to help!
