Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.
I can't believe we are only a couple of days away from the reopening of the
Disneyland Resort theme parks. My California resident pals feel like Anna on her sister's coronation day. Finally, they're opening up the gates!
During the initial reopening period, all visitors will need a few Mouseketools to make their Disneyland Resort dreams come true. First, in an effort to limit capacity and maintain physical distancing protocols,
theme park reservations are required to enter both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. Additionally, since the theme parks are only open to Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors at this time, and proof of California residency may be requested upon entry, it's a good idea to bring along photo identification or another document that confirms your address. Finally, all visitors ages 2 and older must adhere to face-covering requirements and participate in health screenings before entering the theme parks and
Downtown Disney District.
Currently, there are no vaccines required to visit the Disneyland Resort or its theme parks. As guidance from local and national public health organizations evolves, I'll be keeping my eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog and
Experience Updates page to monitor changes to any policies. For now, just make sure to have your theme park reservations and
face mask ready when you finally return to a land of magic.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Stephanie, and we'll see ya real soon!
