Hi there, Caoimhe! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You have really brought some great questions with you! Although I have limited space, I will try my best to answer all of them, but please feel free to come back if I have missed anything! First, there are many rides and attractions that you can enjoy as a family! A few of my personal favorites are Dumbo the Flying Elephant, “it’s a small world”, and the Walt Disney World Railroad, all found at Magic Kingdom Park. Make sure to check out the Attractions web page and you can filter the Attractions by “any age” in order to get additional suggestions of rides that are great for the whole family! In addition, Walt Disney World Resort has a great web page for
Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones.
Christmas Day and Christmas Eve bring with them magic and many Guests seeking said magic within the boundaries of Walt Disney World Resort and as such, all Disney Theme Parks will be quite busy. It is important that you arrive at least an hour before the Disney Theme Park opens. I can’t think of anything more magical than being at Magic Kingdom Park during the Christmas season, so that would be where I would head! If you are planning a Table Service meal on either of these days, I strongly suggest making Advanced Dining Reservations right at the 180-day mark in order to avoid disappointment. There are a number of fantastic Disney restaurants but keep in mind that once you leave a Disney Theme Park on Christmas Day, you most likely will not be able to get back in due to crowds! I would suggest a nice meal at Liberty Tree Tavern where you can enjoy a fabulous turkey dinner!
I hope that I have given you some insight into how to navigate Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, but please come and visit us again soon!
