hi! There will be 5 adults and my 20 month old daughter staying in a Standard Room at the Polynesian Village. What should I request for our room request? I'm looking for the most convient location with the most amount of space and the best view. Thanks

    Aloha, Lauren,

While my family has many resorts we love at Walt Disney World, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is our favorite.  We love the theming, large rooms, pools, and transportation to the parks.  It is a winner every time!

Since you have a standard view room and would like a more convenient location, you have a few choices.  The Samoa and Niue longhouses are ones that have pools on either side of them, so you will have those views and convenience. Niue is the one closest to the Great Ceremonial House (monorail and dining); however, it does not have an elevator. Niue is a bit closer to the Ticket and Transportation Center where you can catch the monorail to Epcot. The Rarotonga longhouse is next to the Great Ceremonial House with views of one of the pools on one side , and the other side has some views of the monorail and gardens (a few may see the parking lot, though). It is also a short walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center.

To help you better explore your options, you may want to visit the independent website Tikimanpages.com which has a wealth of information about the resort. I also really like TouringPlans.com where you can actually see the views from most of the rooms (search for View of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort). This may help you tremendously to decide which view is best for your party.

Have a magical trip and please let us know if we can help further!  -Kara
