Disney Cruise during the holidays is such a special way to celebrate the season. So let's get into the details!
As you likely know,
rotational dining is included in the cost of your cruise and is the main dinner option onboard. I would highly recommend choosing the later seating, as it is typically quieter than the earlier seating. However, you usually have other options. Depending on the day's operating hours, you may also find some quick-service locations at
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods on the main pool deck open during dinner time if you'd prefer an alternative. Keep in mind that since it's on the main pool deck, it can still be busy. However, you may find it a bit less crowded during dinner, as many Guests are enjoying their rotational dining experiences. You can usually grab your food and find a quieter place to enjoy it, too. And remember,
24-hour room service is currently also available, with many items included in the price of your cruise, so you can always order a meal to your stateroom if you'd prefer. For a more exclusive option, you can look into the
premium dining experiences onboard, which you can reserve ahead of time and are available at an additional cost. Our experiences at
Palo Steakhouse were exceptional and a highlight of the entire cruise!
When my husband and I went on our first Disney Cruise this past April, I was surprised by how many
adult-exclusive spaces and activities there were throughout the ship. I kept saying, "For a ship full of families, there are so many places that feel like they're just for adults!" I mean, I'm a huge Disney fan and already knew about these spaces, and I was still surprised. Don't get me wrong, I love the family atmosphere of Disney's parks and experiences, but sometimes it's nice to have a place you can go that's a little quieter and simply enjoy time together. During the holidays especially, those peaceful moments can feel like one of the greatest gifts of all.
