We will have 3 adults and 2 kids with us at Animal Kingdom, and one child isn't tall enough for Flight of Passage. We plan to do Rider Switch. Could 1 adult and the older child wait in line and then the other 2 adults and same child ride using RS?

    Jambo Allison!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are so happy to hear from you.

Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones at the Walt Disney World Resort can be so much fun. There are many resources out there to help you navigate the Theme Parks like a pro with your kiddos. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of my children’s favorite places to visit. Not only are there so many attractions and entertainment options to experience, but they love watching the many species of animals in their habitats. They love becoming Wilderness Explorers. Not only do they get to participate in some cool adventures, but it is a fantastic learning experience. On their last trip, they got to speak to the sweetest Cast Member, who told them all about living in Nepal!

In my opinion, Avatar Flight of Passage is one of the most beautiful attractions I have ever experienced. It truly feels like you are flying, and the imagery is breathtaking. Rider Switch has been a lifesaver for my family. There always seems to be one kiddo that doesn’t meet the height requirement or doesn’t want to ride.

To participate in Rider Switch, check with the Cast Member at the attraction to make sure that Rider Switch is offered. Your entire party will check-in and at least one member of your party and the Guests who are not riding will be issued the switch, In your case, the one adult and the other child will go on the attraction while the rest of your party waits. Once they exit the attraction, the other members of your party will then be able to experience the attraction without having to wait in line again. Since three guests are allowed per Rider Switch Pass, the two other adults in your party can bring on the child that already rode the ride again.

I hope that you and your family have a fantastic time at The Most Magical Place On Earth!

    See You Real Soon!
