Hello, and welcome back to planDisney Jasmine! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. Planning a
Walt Disney World Resort visit is such an exciting adventure! It’s always a great idea to plan ahead, especially when coordinating Lightning Lane selections and Rider Switch for attractions like TRON. Let’s get you ready to make the most of your time in the Grid!
You can use
Rider Switch at Walt Disney World for TRON Lightcycle / Run, but there are some limitations to be aware of. At the entrance, let the Cast Member know that someone needs to stay behind with the younger child. The first group, say two adults and the older kids, can ride while the second group waits. Once the first group is done, the second set of adults can then ride without waiting again. However, only one of the older kids will be allowed to ride again with the second group. That’s Disney’s standard Rider Switch policy, and while it might vary slightly depending on the Cast Member, it's generally enforced pretty consistently.
While both older kids can ride once, only one can ride twice using Rider Switch. If it's really important that both get to ride twice, you'd need to purchase a second
Lightning Lane Single Pass for one of them.
Jasmine, I hope this helps you feel confident as you plan your adventure aboard TRON Lightcycle / Run! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney. Wishing you and your entire travel party a magical visit filled with exciting thrills, special memories, and plenty of pixie dust along the way!
