We have 4 adults and 4 kids. I have made 8 FP plans that I must modify due to height. The adults want to keep their plans. Is there anything the children can use their FP for while the adults take turns supervising the kids and riding the roller coasters?

Hi, Hilary!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm sure you're getting so excited because it's almost time for your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  Speaking of time, you are going to love how much time you save with FastPass+!  I'm so glad to hEAR that you have already begun making your FastPass+ selections for your upcoming trip, and I would be happy to help you finalize those plans.

When you're selecting FastPass+ experiences for your travel party, you are more than welcome to choose different FastPass+ attractions for the various members of your group.  However, any guest entering the FastPass+ queue for an attraction will need to have a valid FastPass+ for that particular attraction.  So, in other words, the adult from your group who plans to accompany the children for their FastPass+ attractions also needs to select FastPass+ for those same attractions.

If all of the adults in your travel party wish to experience the attractions that your littlest Mouseketeers are still too small for, you do have a few options.  Did you know that once you use the FastPass+ selections that you made in advance, you will be able to choose additional FastPass+ experiences?  These additional FastPass+ selections may be made one-at-a-time, subject to availability, using your My Disney Experience mobile app or one of the FastPass+ kiosks conveniently located throughout the theme parks.  You could reserve FastPass+ experiences in advance for the adults in your group, then once the grown-ups have used their FastPass+ selections, you could select an additional FastPass+ for a family-friendly attraction that your entire party can enjoy together.

The Rider Switch Service could also be a great option for your group.  If the youngest members of your party do not meet the height requirement for an attraction, simply speak to a Cast Member at the attraction's entrance.  The Cast Member will set up Rider Switch for your party, and one adult can supervise the children while the others wait in the standby queue.  Once they return from riding, the waiting adult may bring up to two other guests along and access the attraction using the FastPass+ queue.  This eliminates the need to wait in the standby line twice.  If the first group of riders would like to bypass the standby queue, you may use Rider Switch along with FastPass+.  However, please keep in mind that to do so, all riders should have a valid FastPass+ for the attraction.
