We have 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. The adult accounts are linked and the kids are on my account. Will all linked adults have access to the kids' accounts so that everyone can make Genie+ Lightening Lanes reservations for the kids?

    Hiya Andrea!

Thank you so much for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Oh my goodness, Andrea, you are only a few short days away from your vacation! How excited are you? I know I would be thrilled, especially since you picked a fantastic time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

Although they might be trickier to plan, I absolutely love big family trips to Disney. I have so many great memories from the time I spent at the Walt Disney World Resort with my family, and I cannot wait for you to make memories that will last a lifetime with yours! When it comes to My Disney Experience, the rule is that since children under 13 cannot have their own account, their profile would be created and managed by their parent or legal guardian. Consequently, you might not be able to see the child's profile even after linking with their parent or legal guardian on My Disney Experience. The adult managing the child's profile will have to log into their My Disney Experience account and click on "My Family & Friends." Then, they will have to click on "Update" next to their profile and make sure that their list is not set on private. Once they have made sure that their list is public, you will have to go into your account and click on "Add a Guest" in your Family and Friends List. There, you will click on "Find through my connected Guests." Making their list public would allow you to add them through this feature, but if you are all linked on the same Resort Hotel reservation, you should also view the child's profile in that section. If you are having issues with this step, I would highly recommend reaching out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone as Cast Members truly are real-life magic makers! On the day of your visit, make sure that everyone in your party has purchased the Disney Genie+ service for that day if you did not add the option upon checkout. And voilà, you will be able to make Disney Genie+ selections for anyone and everyone in your party!

Now, Andrea, make sure to plan at least a day to visit the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! Not only does this festival include breathtaking views, unique treats and fun limited-time merchandise, but you will also be able to participate in fun activities that the kids are sure to enjoy! Spike's Pollen-Nation Exploration is one of my personal favourites, which is a big scavenger hunt around EPCOT. As you make your way across the World Showcase, your family will have to keep an eye out for Spike the Bee, who is hiding among the gardens of EPCOT. You can buy your map at the shop Port of Entry, and once it is complete, you will be able to redeem a fun prize!

I hope this was helpful, Andrea, and that you and your loved ones have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, don't hesitate to reach out. It will be(e) our pleasure to help you!

    Have a magical day,
