Heigh-ho, Brian, and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting to be planning a grand gathering in the Most Magical Place on Earth! Fortunately, Walt Disney World offers a variety of lodging for families of all sizes. Whether Snow White and Prince Charming are looking for a romantic getaway, or all Seven Dwarfs are going on vacation, there's something for everyone.
If your entire group wants to stay together, consider a two-bedroom villa. These
deluxe home-away-from-home accommodations offer separate sleeping spaces and living areas as well as full kitchens and in-room laundry. Some even feature THREE full bathrooms! My family loves the spacious villas at
Disney's Old Key West Resort and the convenient location of the villas of
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Another option is to reserve two standard rooms at any resort and request that they are connecting, adjoining, or just located in the same building. My kids love riding the
Disney Skyliner, so
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort,
Disney's Pop Century Resort, and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort are a few of their favorite places to stay. All of these resorts provide access to Disney's newest transportation system and offer rooms at a reasonable cost. Be sure to request connecting rooms to keep your crew close by!
I hope this is helpful, Brian. With so many options in the
Disney Resorts Collection, it can be difficult to narrow down your choices! While the two-bedroom villas are the only accommodations that will fit your entire group, you have plenty to consider if you want to book two rooms at the same resort. Take a look at
this Disney Parks Blog article and these
quick tips from my fellow panelists for selecting the best lodging for your family. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and don't hesitate to reach out again if you have further questions.
Happy holidays!
