We (3 adults/3 kids) are going for the first time in May. Have a condo for 7 days but decided to go a few days early & stay at one of the disney hotels. Have NO IDEA which one to pick. Need 2 ajoining rooms, mid range in $. Any favorites?

    Hi Michelle!

Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Any Disney Resort Hotel would be perfect for your family, but if any of the kids still nap, and your budget permits it, I would definitely recommend a "monorail Resort" in the Magic Kingdom area. These include Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. However, these are Deluxe Resorts not mid-range category resorts. Regardless, easy access to Monorail Transportation make them very attractive choices. Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot are easily accessible via monorail.

In the mid-range price category, or Moderate Resort category, I would recommend Disney's Port
Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Read why HERE . Alternatively, opt for Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (POR). Read more about POR HERE. When making the reservation for your rooms, make sure to specify you want two "connecting rooms." Read why HERE.
