We (4 adults 2 kids) will be enjoying our Disney World Vacation Feb 17-24. On Thursday of our trip we will be at Animal Kingdom and we have dinner reservations at Sanaa (at the Animal Kingdom Lodge). What will be the best way to travel from AK to Sanaa?

    Hi Catherine,

Sanaa is one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World restaurants, and it is easy to get there from the Animal Kingdom park. Simply hop on the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus at the front of the park. You will exit the bus at the Kidani Village stop, which should be first. The ride usually takes less than 10 minutes.

If you arrive early or linger after dinner, be sure to check out the animal viewing area outside Sanaa. There are rocking chairs, a firepit and, usually, cast members who can answer questions about the animals and about the resort. The animals also are visible from inside the restaurant.

Sanaa's African- and Indian-influenced food is great to share. My family of four adults usually orders a variety of dishes -- a salad sampler, a vegetable sampler, a couple of meat dishes and a selection of breads and spreads -- to create a family-style meal. There's also a good variety of dishes on the child's menu here.

Enjoy your meal and your entire visit to the Walt Disney World resort. Please let us know if we can help in any other way.
