We have 4 adults + 3 kids (10, 3 and 3) going to Disney World for the first time. What hotel do you recommend? We want to have an "easy" ride to the park.

My personal favorite resort for ease of transportation is Disney's Beach Club.  There is a ferry that will take you to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT or you could technically walk to both if its a nice cool day.  There are walkways to both locations.  The boat also stops at the Boardwalk Resort.  There are buses to the remainder of the parks.  The boat drops you off in the World Showcase.  It is the best set up we have found with five kids.   We would utilize the boats and monorail as much as possible.  You could take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom but that takes more time than the buses, because you have to walk from the back of EPCOT to the front to catch the monorail.  You will than stop at the Transportation Center where you will depart from the monorail and catch the next monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  Kids love to ride the monorail.  I would suggest adjoining rooms.  This works great especially when the little ones nap, and the adults want to sit and talk.  Have a fabulous first trip!!
