Can adults have drinks in the pools?

Hiya, Katelyn! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for swimming over and sharing your question with us.

It sounds like you have a fantastic resort day in the works for your upcoming Walt Disney World trip. That’s such a great idea. With 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and all those dining and shopping locations, there is so much to do at Walt Disney World. It’s a good idea to take a break and relax a bit before heading out on your next adventure.

Guests are certainly allowed to enjoy beverages in the pool area, but not in the actual pool itself. And it’s important to remember that no glass containers are allowed in any resort pool area. Rules for each pool area are posted near the entrance gates, but don’t hesitate to talk to a helpful Cast Member if you have questions.

Most Walt Disney World Resort hotels have bars near or in the pool area, and they are some of my favorite spots to eat on those relaxing resort days. If you're considering doing a pool bar crawl, remember that some locations, like the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Animal Kingdom Lodge, are located inside the pool area, which is reserved for hotel guests. Other watering holes, like Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Wilderness Lodge and the Petals Pool Bar at Pop Century Resort, are adjacent to the pool area and open to the public.

Katelyn, I hope you’re pool day is practically perfect in every way. Pop right back if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
