6 adults are going on a Disney Dream cruise in February. If it is available, we would like to eat at Palo one night. Would you give up the Nights of the Caribbean for Palo, eat earlier than our 2nd seating and watch the fireworks afterwards?

    Hi Shelly!

I feel your dilemma.  I really, really do.  I'm going to give you my 100% honest answer.  RUN, DO NOT WALK, TO PALO!!!  It is the most memorable meal that you'll have on The Disney Dream.

I wish I could add my personal pictures to this answer (as I took pictures of EVERYTHING).  Let me start with the service.  It is impeccable and you'll feel like royalty.  The food is nothing short of miraculous, and you can have as much of it as you want.  That's right...no limit.  My sister, girlfriend and I were dining at Palo in September and we ordered so much food, Disney Cruise Line must have had a loss in profit.  I am not kidding.  It was a 3 hour meal.  That's another plus...you can take as long as you want, enjoy each other's company with no kids around!  Now, I love kids, but this dining experience isn't only about the food, it's the surroundings.  There isn't a chicken nugget in sight and I LOVE THAT!

Pirate night is a very fun night, especially if you're with the kids, but I like your plan.  Go earlier than your second seating and then watch the fireworks.  You are in for an incredible evening!

Oh my gosh!  I almost forgot!  Don't forget to order the chocolate souffle at the beginning of your meal.  It takes a while to prepare for your dessert.  It has almost reduced my 250 lb. husband to cry tears of pure joy!

Hope this helps you...Have a magical sailing!!!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
